Today, July 1, almost all over the country, dry and stable weather is expected to prevail, with little cloudy or clear skies. However, in Galicia, Cantabrian, peninsular Mediterranean coast and north of the Canary Islands intervals of low morning clouds are expected, without ruling out some isolated weak precipitation at the beginning in the Cantabrian. Also, cloudiness will form in areas of the Pyrenees, Cantabrian Mountains and Iberian system, with the possibility of showers and occasional thunderstorms, more likely in the eastern Pyrenees.
Possible morning fog in Galicia, inland Cantabrian, Ebro valley and Mediterranean area, locally persistent in the Andalusian Mediterranean. High haze in Melilla and the eastern Canary Islands is not ruled out.
Daytime temperatures will rise in the interior of the eastern third of the peninsula and the northern plateau and midlands of the Canary Islands. Nighttime temperatures will rise in the northern half of the interior. Temperatures will exceed 34 degrees in the southern interior of the peninsula and the middle Ebro, locally 36 in the Guadalquivir.
Trade winds in the Canary Islands, without ruling out some strong intensity interval. Winds light and variable in general in the rest, prevailing in central hours the west on the Atlantic slope, the northwest in Galicia and the east in the Mediterranean.
