\"Covid-19\"Six out of every ten people over 60 years of age (66.17%) have already received the full course of vaccination against covid-19 in Asturias<\/strong>. The teams of the Principality’s Health Service (Sespa) have administered at least one dose to 333,177 people in this age group (96.09%).<\/p>\n

In addition, almost nine out of ten people aged between 50 and 59 years have received at least one dose (87.53%) and half (52.16%) have already completed the regimen.<\/p>\n

Sespa has inoculated 100,697 people aged between 40 and 49 with the coronavirus vaccine, which means that six out of ten have already received protection.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, the Principality has received 69,480 vaccines this week, of which 51,480 doses correspond to Pfizer, 8,600 to AstraZeneca, 6,600 to Moderna and 2,800 to Janssen.<\/p>\n

35 new cases<\/h2>\n

The Regional Ministry of Health confirms 35 new cases of coronavirus detected yesterday, a day in which there were 3 admissions to the ward and one to the ICU and 11 hospital discharges.<\/p>\n

Currently, 55 patients are hospitalised with confirmed or suspected cases of covid and another 18 people remain in intensive care units. Yesterday a 75-year-old man died.<\/p>\n

Sespa carried out 2,561 coronavirus tests on Wednesday and the positivity rate stood at 1.76%.<\/p>\n

The total occupancy rate for covid in Asturian hospitals is 2.15% and, in the case of ICUs, it stands at 5.90%.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, the Ministry of Health has been notified of 5 new outbreaks of coronavirus detected in the last week, bringing the total number of active outbreaks to 16, with a total of 139 cases.<\/p>\n

Covid Radar application<\/h2>\n

The Government of Asturias urges the population to download the Radar Covid application, a tool that facilitates the work of identification and traceability of possible contacts carried out by primary care professionals and epidemiological surveillance services. This technology allows users to communicate, without revealing their identity, a positive diagnosis, in addition to warning of possible exposure to the virus to other users with whom they have been in contact.<\/p>\n
