The secretary general and parliamentary spokesman of FORO Asturias in the General Assembly, Adri\u00e1n Pumares<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, has expressed his satisfaction because this political group \u00abhas obtained the support of the General Assembly to demand the Asturian Government to maintain the hiring of the 755 COVID teachers who have reinforced the education system to deal with the pandemic during the next academic year\u00bb.
\nThe parliamentary spokesman regretted \u00abthe House’s rejection of our proposal to demand that the Spanish Government maintain the same extraordinary resources for the next academic year, as guaranteed by the Minister\u00bb.<\/p>\n

\u00abWithout knowing yet how the next school year will develop, and with the threat of the pandemic still present, it would be negligent to reject the need for additional resources, avoiding maintaining the current number of teachers, it is a serious mistake\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Finally, Pumares pointed out that the pandemic, with the confinement and semi-presence, \u00abhas caused numerous problems for students, so it is necessary to allocate all available resources to compensate for possible learning deficits\u00bb.<\/p>\n
