Spain’s water reserve is at 44.6 percent of its total capacity. The reservoirs currently store 25,042 cubic hectometres (hm³) of water, decreasing in the last week by 88 cubic hectometres (0.2 percent of the current total capacity of the reservoirs).
The reserve by area is as follows:
- Eastern Cantabrian is at 86.3%.
- Western Cantabrian at 63.1%.
- Miño-Sil at 53.5%.
- Galicia Coast at 61.8%.
- Internal basins of the Basque Country at 95.2%.
- Duero at 49.5%.
- Tagus at 46.0%.
- Guadiana at 30.5%.
- Tinto, Odiel and Piedras at 74.2%.
- Guadalete-Barbate at 29.8%.
- Guadalquivir at 28.5%.
- Andalusian Mediterranean Basin at 30.6%.
- Segura at 34.7%.
- Júcar at 54.5%.
- Ebro at 66.0%.
- Internal basins of Catalonia at 56.4%.
Rainfall has been scarce on the Atlantic side and very scarce on the Mediterranean side. The maximum was in Bilbao-Bilbo with 14.1 mm (14.1 l/m²).
